SustainableEnergy, Denmark has funded a 3 year project titled Devolution and Climate Change Adaptation in Western Kenya, which kicked off in November 2015. The project is based on the theory of change, thus seeking an increasingly qualified CSO sector that works closely with the most vulnerable groups (right-holders) and duty-bearers on climate change adaptation interventions.

For many CDD sub-projects beneficiaries in the 7 districts of Uganda, obtaining support from the Lake Victoria Environment Management Project (LVEMPII) could be their first time. To them, LVEMP II is the name related to their CDDs. But in Rakai district Kifamba Sub County, one of the CDD beneficiaries is enjoying round two of support from LVEMP. They benefited in the first phase of LVEMP (LVEMPI) and now they are also beneficiaries of LVEMP II.
